영어표현 live off the fat of the land는?

오늘 영어공부시간에 나온 영어표현 "live off the fat of the land"는 '호의호식하다", "잘먹고 잘살다"의 뜻이네요. 
영영사전에서 그 의미를 보니 "have plenty of money to spend on the best food, drink, entertainment"의 뜻입니다. "to be rich enough to enjoy the best of everything" 의 뜻.......^^
